Our goal is to provide a balanced preschool program for the whole child,
allowing for physical, emotional, cognitive, social, and creative exploration
and growth. During their preschool years, children may learn specific
skills such as recognizing their names, using scissors or turning
somersaults. These are important skills which encourage both adults and
children. Our larger goals however, are harder for us to observe. We
are watching for signs that children become comfortable with a variety of
people, enjoy using their bodies, communicate their thoughts clearly, and
approach life with joy and curiosity and confidence. These are attributes
that will enrich their lives and assist them as lifelong learners.
